- Economic routes - during your trip we use economic routes. This way we use less fuel and reduce the ecological impact.

- Hot lunch - we offer our guests hot lunches. For lunch we use picnic baskets. These are equipped with real plates, placemats, cutlery & glasses. The hot lunch is prepared for you on the spot. It is a lot healthier than pre-packed cold sandwiches and you can enjoy the delicious flavors that Africa has to offer. By offering hot lunches we can keep the use of plastic at 0%.

- Leftover food - Is there food left over from the hot lunch? Then we give the food to the local population. It helps prevent food waste and it creates a connection with the community.

- Local food - during our hot lunches we use local food. This way we keep the ecological impact low and we support local farmers.

- No plastic materials - you will not find a plastic bottle in our accommodations. Water and other amenities, such as body lotion and shampoo, are offered in glass bottles, among other things. By using different materials, we keep the use of plastic to 0%.

- Women at work - we are an advocate of 'women at work'. We promote this wherever we can and in the accommodations we work with, you will also notice this. By helping women to find work and supporting their development, we contribute to gender equality and women's empowerment.

Give back to the local community

One of our initiatives is to ask all our travelers to donate at least one bag of rice to a local children's home. These donations make a huge difference in the lives of the children and we encourage additional contributions. It is our way of giving back to the community that welcomes us so warmly.
